Settling In…

Well, it’s been quite a while since I have posted anything here so I figured I would go ahead and post something! 
June has been a very busy month for me! I started the month off by turning in all my stuff at my old job. I spent the next week or so packing up stuff and on the 10th I loaded up the truck and moved to Havelock! We moved into our apartment on the 12th and spent the next week or so unpacking and setting things up. I’ve spent the last week looking for work and today it seems as if I have something lined up finally.
Not much of an excuse for not posting but there it is!
I will say that I have scanned a few things in the last couple of days and I am in the process of sorting through my paperwork so I may find something cool to post about soon.
Of course, I could post about how different North Carolina is from Texas but that will come eventually.
Just so you know, I am still alive and kicking and finally getting settled in here in North Carolina.

What a grand adventure you’re having, Ken! I’ve been following you on twitter and I’m glad to know your move has gone well so far. I am most interested to hear your reflections on how life/lifestyle is different in NC than in Texas. Enjoy!
@Kim — We miss you all also! I would love to be there to see Courtney walking and to see Bryce go to school for the first time! We will see you again soon, I’m sure!
@Jasia — Thanks for the comment. There are quite a few differences in North Carolina and Texas and I am sure that will give me something to write about soon. For now things are finally smoothing out and starting to feel like home again!
