The Rumours Of My Demise Are Exaggerated!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to drop by and apologize for the inconsistency of my posts lately. I’ve been very busy trying to make arrangements for going to San Diego to pick my son up from Marine boot camp! For the past couple of months I have been surviving by frequenting a message board at MarineParents.com. I don’t know what I would have done without them!
I’ll try to be more frequent soon! My son will be home for 10 days after graduation and will fly back on the 23rd. I’ll miss him but when he returns he will no longer be a recruit, he will be a Marine. I’ll just have to learn to live with him being so far away!
Well, I’m off to pack. My flight leaves Wednesday morning!
