It seems to me that you are just experiencing the "6-month Itch." I was having some of the same thoughts you are about blogging, why was I doing it, how to keep motivating, and what subjects should I be focusing on.

Genealogy bloggers have some unique issues because usually our field of interest is so narrow. I enjoy reading your blog, so I hope you continue.

Ken - just thought I'd let you know that I enjoy reading your blog and hope that you decide to continue, even if the posts aren't daily or even weekly. I agree that quality of posts is far more important than quantity! It sounds like you have a lot of future posts regarding your research to share and I'm looking forward to them. By the way, Lorelle had a guest-blogger, Abhijit Nadgouda, who had an interesting and informative post a couple of days ago titled "Why Blog?" at http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2007/08/06/why-blog/
