Beyond Fiction

Well, I’ve been away for a while but I have not stopped my pursuits of my family research. Work and other things have kept me from posting lately but I am determined to keep this going.

I have made many strides on my paternal side lately. I used information from research done by a cousin along with information gathered from Ancestry.com to take my Spangler research from about 300 individuals to about 800. I have also used the same resources to increase my Gamble research from 200 or so to almost 1000.

Of course, now I have to take all this info and sort it, evaluate it and then incorporate it into my site. This will all take a lot of time but I am excited about being able to show off all my research soon.

It is my goal and desire to keep everyone informed about my research. This should be an exciting time for the family, especially my immediate family (brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews) since they can discover our family’s history together.

So, that’s it for today. I’ll keep everyone updated as often as possible.
